A living museum celebrating the natural heritage of Castilla-La Mancha, in Albacete.
The Botanic Garden of Castilla-La Mancha is a botanical museum located in Albacete, Spain, beside the Vía Verde to La Pulgosa.
More than 40 plant communities native to Castilla-La Mancha are recreated throughout the garden, all protected under European and regional legislation and managed according to ecological gardening principles certified by CAAE. These habitats include some of the region's most threatened plant species, making the conservation of endangered flora the cornerstone of our work.
Opening Hours
June, July and August
Tuesday to Sunday
Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Evening: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Important Information
Weather notice: Guided tours will be automatically cancelled whenever the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) issues an adverse weather warning.
Events: When concerts or other events are held in the Botanical Square, the plant collections will be closed to visitors. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can now book your guided visit to the Botanic Garden of Castilla-La Mancha!
Guided tours will resume on 15 September, but bookings are already open.
Requests can be made through the "Visit Request" section of our website and are available for groups of 10 to 30 people.
